On Friday, March 21, starting at 7:00 PM, the next literary evening in the "Literature Returns to Subotica" cycle will take place at Klara and Rosa (Petefi Šandora 15). This time, we will present Nađa Petrović.
.
Nađa Petrović graduated in dramaturgy from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade and holds a master’s degree in film and TV directing. At the age of sixteen, she won third place in the Young Literary Super Talents competition, and her novel "To je to" was published in 2015. Her stories are part of collections such as "Priče sa gradskih ćoškova" (2015), "Studentske priče" (2021), and "Mokri(n) čvor" (2022). Her creativity is also reflected in dozens of short films based on her screenplays, shown at over a hundred festivals around the world. Films directed by Nikola Stojanović based on her screenplays have been awarded at the Sarajevo Film Festival, the Les Arcs European Film Festival in France, the March Documentary and Short Film Festival, the Beldocs Festival, and she personally won the award for Best Film Script at the Bašta Fest. Nađa has also directed short fiction films, while her short documentary film "Drugi avgust" premiered at the March Film Festival in 2023. She published the novel "Meduze žive zauvek dok ih ne uhvate", where she virtuously combines teenage drama with an exciting intimate confession, creating a poetic, painful story about the essential fragility, fear of death and life, bravely revealing the vulnerability of the soul of a young girl.
