This year, we remain committed to the idea that art can bring any space to life—all it takes is a performer or an artwork, and an audience. KVARTITURA brings art into everyday spaces, allowing us to experience creative content that can enrich our day and broaden our perspectives without the need for planning or prior knowledge.

KIX is a twelve-year-long odyssey that follows the growth and development of Šanji, from a mischievous boy on the streets of Budapest to a disillusioned young man. Inspired by an unusual friendship with filmmakers David and Bálint, the film chronicles Šanji’s life journey marked by family problems, troubles at school, and the burden of surrogate fatherhood concerning his newborn sister. As Šanji faces the challenges of adolescence, the filmmakers transition from active participants to observers of his life’s turmoil, culminating in a tragic turn that forces him to confront the responsibilities of adulthood.
