Study Visit to Estonia – Sharing Knowledge and Experiences
With the support of the Guerrilla Foundation, we visited Estonia to connect with cultural and activist organizations in Tallinn and learn more about their approach to community work.
.
Our first step was meeting with the Estonian network of nonprofit organizations, where we learned from their team leader about their project development processes and networking strategies for similar initiatives. We also had a chance to speak with activist Katarina Grape, who shared insights into activism and local traditions within their community.
.
We visited Q-Space, an organization that brings people together through events—ranging from films to discussions and panels—in a way that resonates with our own work. At a dance festival, we found inspiration in the performance GRITU, which explores themes of women’s freedom, followed by a panel discussion with the artists, giving us insight into their creative process.
.
This visit was an opportunity to explore key spots on Tallinn’s cultural scene and to exchange ideas that will enrich our work back home in Subotica.
